Andrew Scott interviewed by BBC

BBC Presenter John Darvall interviewed entrepreneur Andrew Scott live on air during his BBC Radio morning show.

During “Homeless to millionaire: The Andrew Scott story” Darvall delved into Andrew’s background growing up in the Troubles in Northern Ireland, surviving a terrorist bomb attack and moving to England at 18, where he began his entrepreneur journey.

This journey was a roller coaster, when he lost everything after one bad business decision. But Andrew refused to give up and with two young sons to support, he started over with one purpose-driven mission – to help other entrepreneurs realise their true potential and avoid the mistakes he made.

Along that journey, Andrew built a multi-million group of companies and now employs around 100 staff from his HQ in Weston-super-Mare.

He also shared the story with John Darvall of how he sold his high profile media company “Business Leader” to Richard Harpin, the tycoon who sold Homeserve PLC for £4.1 billion.

Andrew commented: “John Darvall is a seasoned BBC host who put me at ease but quickly dived under the bonnet and asked some difficult but poignant questions.  I think BBC TV and Radio could do more to support entrepreneurs, who are facing a lot of challenges right now.”
