A commercial enterprise with a social conscious

For the Ascot Group CSR isn’t about ticking some boxes or giving a charity donation. We have been actively involved in making a direct contribution to our community, the environment and in building a sustainable future since 2004.

With a dedicated team involved in ‘ACT’ (Ascot Community Team) we meet every month to explore ways in which we can best support good causes; whether this is fundraising or taking part in activities.

Through direct and indirect fundraising with our partners and clients, we have helped raise over £500,000 for dozens of charities and good causes.

In 2017 Ascot Group CEO Andrew Scott was presented with the prestigious IoD (Institute of Directors) ‘Corporate Responsibility Award’ for our work in North Somerset and the wider community, as well as internally by developing and supporting our people through their careers and life-journeys.

Environment

The Ascot Group is located in purpose-built offices in Weston-super-Mare, attracting employees who no longer wish to have the stress and environmental impact of daily commuting into the heavily congested city of Bristol. With easy walking and cycling, the office is also adjacent to Worle train station providing fast, easy access to employees and visitors alike.

Ascot HQ has also been fully refurbished and provides full recycling facilities, low-energy LED lighting throughout and intelligent thermostatic climate control.
