Ascot Group CEO, Andrew Scott, was recently invited to attend and speak at a 3 day VIP Business Masterclass at the 5 star Don Pepe Gran Melià hotel in Marbella, Spain.
The Masterclass was an exclusive VIP event organised for over 75 ambitious entrepreneurs who are part of the Dealmakers Academy, an organisation led by Jonathan Jay, that teaches members how to acquire companies at scale.
The entrepreneurs had an immersive 3 day programme with a series of world-class coaches and trainers on everything from negotiating a business acquisition to post-acquisition growth strategies, building a winners mindset and goal-setting.
Aside from Jonathan Jay himself, delegates had the opportunity to hear from legendary business speakers including, among others, James Vincent, the ‘coaches coach’, world-renowned speaker and author Pete Cohen, and the sensational Nigel Risner, advisor to some of the world’s leading organisations.
Andrew Scott was interviewed live on stage by Jonathan Jay about his experience in acquiring, building, and selling several companies.
Andrew commented:

Andrew has acquired and sold multiple companies over the last 20 years as diverse as manufacturing, retail, media and events.
He recently sold his publishing company, Business Leader Ltd, to business titan Richard Harpin, founder of the £4 billion Homeserve PLC company, while Mark Allen Group, the internationally renowned media group, acquired Andrew’s conference venture in October 2023.
During the event, Andrew was fortunate enough to spend one-to-one time with many of the coaches and trainers, gaining deep business insights and sharing his experience, while also enjoying spending time with advising many of delegates on business strategy, marketing and growth.
