Not many people have a career like Ascot Group founder and CEO, Andrew Scott. Growing up in Belfast during the Troubles, Andrew moved to London in 1986 with a burning desire to make a difference in the world we live in.
With an insatiable appetite for learning he quickly made a name for himself in sales and marketing circles, attending Cranfield Business School and appointed marketing director of IMF Group PLC at the age of 25. Andrew’s expertise in marketing and business growth grew and he acquired, built and sold a number of companies as diverse as manufacturing, distribution, retail and multi-branch networks.
In 1998 he worked with the management team in a business turnaround, which saw a small manufacturing company in South Wales grow from £100,000 sales per month to over £1m per month in four years, with £2m annual profits, before the business was sold to Masco INC, a U.S. Fortune 500 company.
Andrew was appointed Fellow of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management, member of the Institute of Digital and Direct Marketing and member of the Direct Marketing Association. He is a regular key-note speaker on the latest marketing thinking and business strategy, and a regular columnist in a number of industry journals and magazines.
Andrew sits on a Chamber of Commerce committee and the Marketing Communications Council of the GGF in London, and is actively involved in promoting business and enterprise and inspiring the next generation of business leaders.
Still retaining a down-to-earth, hands-on approach and a unique Irish sense of humour, Andrew Scott is a brand expert, marketing disruptor and innovator. He has developed a formidable array of tools, services and resources to help companies create extraordinary brand awareness, growth and profitability.
